La deuxième épreuve du championnat des Emirats Arabes Unis s’est déroulée à Abu Dhabi ce 27 janvier 2012 dernier. Ce n’est pas en pleine forme que Steven s’alignera sur la grille en Pro ski puisque blessé au genoux, il souffre beaucoup.
Après avoir remporté la première manche et terminé 2nd à la deuxième, Steven remporte le week end devant Ludo Caumont et son poulain Omar Abdulla Al Rashid.
En revanche, la malchance poursuit Omar en Limited qui avait gagné les 2 manches haut la main mais qui s’est fait disqualifié pour bouée manquée.
Ryan à fait de belles performances. En effet, il s’aligne en Junior avec un Hydrospace S4 4 temps stock afin de pouvoir être plus compétitif qu’avec le Kawasaki SXR. Une demie journée de mise en jambe et le voilà sur la grille de départ. Après 2 beaux départs, il préfère jouer la sécurité avec son nouveau jetski après s’être fait enfermé à la bouée de holeshot. Il terminera 4e du week-end.
La prochaine course aura lieu de 25 février.

The second round of the UAE championship in Abu Dhabi on January 27th 2012. Steven, who get injured on the knee, get first of the week end in front of Ludo Caumont and Omar Abdulla Al Rashid, its little rider. He won the first moto and got 2 at the 2nd.
Omar Abdulla Al Rashid, who won the 2 motos in limited class, get disqualified again even if he took the penality buoee.
Ryan stop riding the Kawasaki SXR to race with a new hydrospace S4 which lets him to be much more competitive in his category. After 2 nice motos, he finally get 4th overall after having stop gas just before the holeshot he was about to take because of other riders who were about to be too much close to him.
The 3nd round is on February, 25th.
